About Us

A Family Owned, Third Generation Contractor

With 20 years of experience, Joe DiPilato is a third generation contractor who started working with his father at the age of 15. Under his tutelage, Joe developed the core skills of construction, discipline, and principles of business. Over the years he carefully honed those skills to include the fine finish work he is known for today.

Custom Woodwork - Cabinet, Vanities and More

He also took his love of cabinet and furniture making to new levels. Now with his fully tooled shop, he delivers some of the finest hand-made kitchen cabinets, vanities, and entertainment centers around. He will custom-design and build almost anything for you in any material and even install it in your home. The bigger the challenge, the more he likes it! We have added new options to our company to meet the needs of our customers. We added septic system upgrades, snow removal, dumpster/container rentals, and aerial lifts to our line of work to keep the pace with the times at hand and allow you to work with just one person to handle all of your projects.

With L&J Builders One Call, That's All

From the start of the job to the final punch list, he is the only person you deal with. He is always on the job and doing the work! From site work excavation to the last piece of molding, we do it all. We have our own equipment to save you time and money on the entire project. We only use subcontractors as needed to expedite the project so it runs smoothly and on time. We are very budget-conscious and keep you aware of and on budget at all times so you can control and make your project the one of your dreams. We look forward to working with you.

We Are a Lead-Safe Certified Firm

During renovations, safety is vital, and that is why we are Lead-Safe Certified (# NAT-39397-1) by the EPA. Common home renovation, repair, and painting activities can disturb lead-based paint in older homes and can create hazardous lead dust and chips which can be harmful to both adults and children. Plus, did you know that repairs that create even a small amount of lead dust are enough to poison your child and put your family at potential risk. For more information, you can visit the EPA's Lead Website.
